CCL -- She Needs Some Space

Today schedule was set:

Morning - Ballet for JE
Afternoon - Art Class for YX and JE
Evening - Mental Arithmetic Class for JE

Wow!! Full day for JE. But I did seek her opinion before put her for these class. She loves them and not allow me to cancel any one of them.

Why squeeze so many classes in one day??? Er.... More convenience would be the common answer.

JE had made a decision not attending the evening class, the reason being was she sleepy. I did not object but I choose to do  one more step to discuss with her.

Mummy :  next week will be having 2 lessons if absent today's class, do you think you can take it? However I will still suggest you attend today's class. Anything you want to share with me?
JE : I actually wanna to finish my class work before I go to attend lessons.
Mummy:
Mummy : You can complete them in class.
JE: in class, we are doing different things and I do not want my speed is so much slower than others
Mummy: ok, then we going back now.

I choose to follow JE's decision as I need to consider her thinking and feeling. No point forcing her to class if she is not ready for it. This will be back to the question of quality learning or quality learning?

On the way back, I suggest to take them to a shopping mall playground after dinner.  Wow!!! Respond was good. YX very co-operate this time.

Whereas JE, she just could bot sleep even she claim She is sleepy earlier on (I know this is a excuse for not attending the class). She just spent time for her interested activities, drawings, doing abacus homework, even read up a magazine. She just enjoying...

In fact, I think JE and myself has learnt alot today.

I will do what i have promised:)

CCL -- Small message with BIG meaning

It is a thoughtful message for her dearest daddy.

This is a special post it message that written by JE after I've told JE that daddy is flying to somewhere for work tomorrow. She sticked it on the bedroom door as she know sure daddy can read her message when opening the door!!

I am so touched by this little action!!!! Can't expect this little one has such a great loving thought!

Sure Daddy was happy and smiling warmly in his heart when seeing it.

CCL - You are always in our memories

I like this photo very much. It is the final family picture that taken with mother. It was celebrating JE's 6th birthday. I am sad to write this down -- my mother-in-law has passed away on 3rd June 2012.

Just wanna to tell you -- my derest mother.

I am so grateful to stay with you in this lovely family for 8 years. Thanks for the unconditional care, love and guidance that you have given to me. I will not forget it but will keep them in my heart forever.

Rest in peace with free of illness and pain. We will take good care of ourself and also the kids.

We love you forever and you are always in our memories.

CCL - Who is my darling??

Who is my darling?? A question from mummy

"Jia Enn is the first darling, YewXuan is the second darling and YewKai is the youngest darling!", claimed by my dear JiaEnn and YewXuan.

"Then how about daddy, he also my darling right?" , Mummy continue to ask

"No, he is your lover or husband, not darling!", confronted by Jia Enn.

It was a nice and remarkable conversation with my dear kids.

Our kids are just unique and simple.......

It really remind me the importance to call a person with correct name. I always think darling just a name to call someone who very close to me, but infact my kids take it the name meant for me to call them. Hm....better stop using this name for someone else excepts our kids:)

CCL - A workshop that meant so much!!!!

Mummy proposely schedule the class on today, 18 March 2012 as it also a day to celerabte birthday for JiaEnn and YewXuan.

 Lunch @ Sunway Giza before go to the class ~~~~ Japanese cuisine and also mummy's favourite :)

 It was a great moment to gather daddy to join the crowd. I love to see daddy's participation and patience with the kids!!! Because of him, it make today more memorable and special!!!

CCL - 2012 birthday celebration

Birthday for JiaEnn - 17 March
Birthday for YewXuan - 18 March

17 March will be the date for every year to celebrate these 2 devils birthday!!!
As usual but it was welcomed by everybody -- to have the cake cutting with all beloved family members.

 Of course 2 cakes will be prepared for them individually!

 A nice picture --  a good constrast of the our life.....  Simple, loving & thoughful heart!!!

CCL - Love or Anger

I am sitting in the waiting hall for my car service.

There is a family, 3 kids (2 girls and 1 boy - the yougest), mother and father in the room , who also waiting for the same purpose. The youngest son is very active and like to explore by runnin up and down in the room. This really attract my attention as he is a reflection of my little YexXuan.

The mother is quite annoyed when looking at her son, she has scolded or yelled at her son, she also pretented to beat him if he do or talk something in front her. I can see the little boy want to tell his monther  what are those new items he came accross int he room and wanna to share out his little opinion and excitment. He just like to drink water, why? Because in our house do not have this thing - dispenser. Kids are full with curiousity. However, this great thinking has been disappeared somewhere when we are growing up....

Parent, refering to myself too  -- Why we just take all these for granted? In fact this is a very good timing for our kids to grow and learn more!!

I shall take it a must tool for my kids to grow up. A way to widen their thinking - to be diversified thinking, spirit to explore and learn more, to find answer for their little doubts. We will have different grade of "why" at different age, this also applied the same to kids. As adult , we know the tools such as "google" , to get for our answer. But for kids, they just need us to guide them along until they manage to find their own highway to their desired places.

YewXuan, or I would like most of kids love watching cartoon. He get to view cartoon from Iphone. Because everytime YewXuan has to wait for daddy or mummy to key the word such as "mickey" in order to search for Mickey movie. He learnt it a very smart way -- impressed daddy and mummy. He explored and trial all buttons available in the screen, and manage to learn bookmark the page by himself - so everytime he could get connected to his favourite movie in just a second. From there, he able to know so much of fund the phone is (how powerful from the newly gadget nowadays).

In order not to make him get addicted, daddy has activated the password function - only let him to use the Iphone after he got our permission (Unlock the phone). This make so much of inconvenient to JiaEnn & YewXuan. They start to learn smarter, remember the password that we key each time, trial and error the number.

A very important habit for discipline , everyime, mummy has to notify how long is the play time and keep alarmed them when timing up. By having this mutual agreement, make JiaEnn and YewXuan to comply with it - easier to return Iphone to mummy without any complaints or resistance.

CCL - Birthday @ School

It the latest trend --- to celerbate birthday with schoolmates!!! Why say it is latest treand??? because it never happen in daddy & mummy's time!!!

The angry bird cakes were specially ordered from daddy's friend!! They are looking great, but not sure how is the taste because mummy has no chance to try out. It meant for the schoolmated~~~Arghhhh

 2 devils woke up more ealier than usual (the sign of sleepy is obvious ) as they know today is the day for them in school!!!

CCL - Art Of Recycle

What will you do with kids on a hot Sunday afternoon? Thanks to JiaEnn for bringing this idea -- make a photo frame!

Oh yeah, both of them waiting for my instruction to start the project. Mummy is not a good art teacher but just lucky enough to steal the idea from a art school during one of the window shopping.

Due to last minute, no preparation on the art material. Mummy has to crack head in order not to disappoint JiaEnn and YewXuan. Here we are.....

 Limited resources -- the main idea is the touch on recycling. Before we have this idea, JiaEnn and YewXuan will treat them as rubbish.

 JiaEnn's cutting skill is good - she just loving it :)

 It was amazed on YewXuan's serious cute face, first time doing art work independently.

 Job Done -- JiaEnn was the one to suggest to place it on the white paper!

Throught the whole activity, YewXuan's focus and patience limit is much more improved as what I am expected. He so happy with the final product and insisted to place it in the TV rack , one of the place for JiaEnn to displayed all art and craft. He remind us not to throw it as it is not a rubbish anymore but it has turned out a beautiful art work in his eyes.

JiaEnn and YewXuan just happy and looked great when they have transformed the broken boxes  to a photo frame in such a simple way. Whenever the kids see the art work, they will wow -- we did it!!!

CCL - Math time

Make math part of her everyday life.

Problem to solve before cookies time:)

I have 7 cookies, but YX & JE want to eat them. How many should be each person get? Do my kids know the important of sharing? Do them know what is called balanced?

JE has tabulated below -- how about the single one?? JE and YX both are smiling at the stay alone cookies.....

Mummy just sorry and sad to see YX is suffering so much of pain :( YewXuan could not sleep well these period. He is awaken from pain.....Getting more quiet......

It was mummy's fault to release your hand while we were in a noodle shop.

It was mummy's careless mistake to cause all these.

Mummy is sad whenever looking at the pictures.

Thanks to little brave YX to face this strongly and lively!

I am glad -- my playful boy has back :)

CCL - Little Organiser

Leader should be planted since young. Hm... how? let try out!!!

Today being the last day (15th) of 2012 Lunar New Year and we have decided to visit FGS Dong Zen Temple Lantern and Floral Festival 2012.

JE was being asked to draft the event plan for us. Of course, with daddy's help, JE able to know the basic on how to get it started.

Looking at the list of items to bring -- It just simple but complete list. She even wrote down handphone in the list!!! What a caring tod.

Who : she put down everybody -- no one will be left out!

Afterall, it was a good start :)

CCL - Just A Routine

It was a hot afternoon and it was about to get YX to sleep.

YewXuan: Mummy, I want to shower
Mummy: Morning already showered
YewXuan: Cannot, teacher said, before sleep must shower and brush teeth

The mummy had nothing to said but just to follow.

He just acted naturally, no different between school and home -- good job Harmony :)
