CCL- Reading Fun

Mummy always believes --things will be getting better and easier if practices start early... turning even better if it become a habit. But of course with the reasonable starting point, but question again --- when and how? JE has to be trained be independently by now. A lot of time mummy will ask her to manage thing by herself. Mummy always explain all kind of doubt that she has. In mummy's eye, JiaEnn always is the good learner, she always open her mind and heart for new things, which being a main factor to make her grow. This is important, because Jia Enn has to set a good example for the brothers. Mummy and the kids are started reading with fun ways...... If JiaEnn ok, she is encouraged to read a story book / dance in front of daddy and mummy -- just to build up her confident level to speak up. Mummy never point out (on the spot but later) if she spelled or read any wrong word as this is not fit the purpose in this session. JiaEnn is cheered up by our clapping sound or praising words. We will not force her to present to anyone if she refuses to, because we know, evern just a kid, also deserved a right to make her own desicion.....to have her own stand. There are many interesting and colorful stories books are stored -- to boost kids curiousity. Kids will get attracted whenever they see cute and colorful characters and will interest to know more about the stories. There are always many exciting guessing talks about the stories before mummy go into the details of a story book, such as "why the princess running in a jungle (Cinderella stories)? A really fun activities to spend with kids. It also creates spaces for children to to share their views and expression. Sometime Kids would be the story teller, at this point, I think kids could be very creative. YewXuan and YewKai could not read well at this stage, most of the time they are creating they own story by guessing from the pictures! It is good to see kids can think of new stories from story book and mummy will give them kisses and hugs to acknowledge their good work. Kids are also encouraged to draw out their imagination or story on a paper. There will be no bad comment or judge on their drawings. Some nice drawings are paste on the wall and this is a good way to boost kid's confident. YewKai who is just turning 2 this year just feeling good and happy while pointing to daddy mummy on his drawing (in fact it is just a scribbling) on the wall.
